Bringing Your Game into the Basement

(This post is inspired by Sage Reads Games.)

As part of our transition to a new season and a new focus, Mom's Basement Podcast would like to begin a series on in-development games. We know how hard it can be to get someone to read and critique a game-in-progress, and we want to do what we can to help.

So if you have a game that you're developing, and you would like us to spend a half hour or so on a future podcast to discussing and critiquing it, send an email to momsbasementpodcast at gmail.com.

Any indie or small press game that is currently in development is eligible. If your game has just recently been self-published, that's fine too. We'd just like to avoid indie products that are already getting reviews and attention elsewhere.

Please include a link to a design doc or draft of your game in your email, or include it as an attachment. We will post a link to it with the podcast at your request.

We are also willing to record actual play sessions for in progress games. However, while we can probably review/critique your game within a week or two, we can't provide any timeline for actual play. Recordings of actual play sessions will be sent to you by email.

If you have any questions, email us at the email above or leave a comment on this post.
